NPA BOSS HADIZA BALA USMAN
In a series of tweets posted on her Twitter handle on Wednesday, March
22, Usman claimed she has been issued with death threats and veiled
messages conveying that her life is at risk.
Usman, 41, was a former chief of staff of Kaduna
state governor, Nasir El-Rufai before she was recommended for the NPA
job by her former boss.
Her travails began after El-Rufai's 30-page memo to President Muhammadu Buhari was leaked to the media.
While the memo was a trending topic, some media
reports claimed that Usman had bribed some All Progressives Congress
chieftains with $25 million each to push for the vice presidential
candidacy for El-Rufai while the president was in London for medical vacation.
She addressed the rumours via her tweets....
Meanwhile, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai met briefly at the Kaduna International Airport on Friday, March 24.
